Hello, I'm Samuele.
I am an Italian developer and GIS specialist based in Milan. By day, I navigate the complexities of maps, code, and digital twins. By night, I explore imaginary worlds.
For years, I’ve blogged about technology and programming at stranianelli.com. That remains my home for technical deep dives and coding tutorials.
Recently, I started a new journey: writing fiction in English. It's a challenge I set for myself to practice a second language and to give form to the stories that inhabit my mind.
To separate this creative pursuit from my technical work, I write sci-fi and speculative fiction under the pen name Sam C. Tomasi.
The "C" stands for Chuquiragua, the resilient national flower of Ecuador, the land of my birth. It serves as a constant reminder of my roots and the enduring nature of stories.
All my drafts, short stories, and experiments in fiction are collected in my publication here on Medium:
There, I build in public, sharing raw chapters illustrated with my own handmade watercolors and occasional AI-generated visuals.
If you are here for the code, stay connected via my GitHub or my blog. If you are here for the stories, I invite you to join me at the Null Coordinate.
Welcome to my loop.
